Elijah Williams recognized as one of Houston’s Top 30 Under 30

Johnson Space Center's Elijah Williams was recently recognized as one of Houston's Top 30 Under 30 Young Professionals.

Williams, who currently works in Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs in the JSC External Relations Office, was recognized for his leadership roles at NASA and in the Houston area. He presently serves as president of the Houston Area Urban League Young Professionals (HAULYP). As a member of the Board of Directors of the Houston Area Urban League, Williams was instrumental in the HAULYP being recognized with the National Urban League’s Young Professional’s Southern Region Chapter of the Year Award. He, too, was honored by the City of Houston with the Mayor’s Volunteer Houston Award. Williams also serves on the advisory board for Houston PBS’ “Red, White and Blue” political affairs program.
