NASA’s Train Like an Astronaut program visits Buffalo, NY

More than 1,500 athletes and 200 coaches at the New York State Special Olympic Summer Games in Buffalo participated in NASA’s Train like an Astronaut (TLA) hands-on, space-fit health and science education program in June. TLA is part of Johnson Space Center’s Human Health and Performance Directorate. Mission X: Train like an Astronaut is an international education challenge focusing on fitness and nutrition.
